Applications
Tricarboxylic acid corrosion inhibitors are used in cooling towers, boilers, and closed-loop cooling systems to protect metal components from corrosion caused by contact with water, particularly in systems exposed to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments.
The inhibitors are used in pipeline maintenance to prevent the corrosion of steel or other metals that may come in contact with water or corrosive gases.
